Our entry in our home has been one of those spaces that has never felt complete to me. I have changed it sooooo many times.
Now I'm going to show you this space as it has journeyed through the years.
But first: No mocking, laughing, rolling of eyes, or any type of general comments about how often I move furniture around.
N'kay?
Did I mention the first pictures is only about a year old?
I said no eye rolling!
And here's how it looks now:
I can finally say I love it.
I really do!
The black table is long gone, the turquoise table is now in our master bathroom, and the white table with the skinny legs is in the living room with the chests still under it.
I should probably post more pictures.
Which arrangement is your favorite?
I am still thinking about painting the stairs railings. Just trying to muster up the courage to do it. Honestly, if I can tile a kitchen, I can paint some stairs.
I guess I just have to pick up the project supplies first.
Oh, I already have the paint and brushes, I just mean the Diet Coke to get me through it.
I love it with the chair! But you know how i feel about those chairs.
ReplyDeleteMy question is, how in the world is there never crap on that table?
I love the turqoius arrangement!
ReplyDeleteI love the turquoise as well very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love them all.
ReplyDeleteHow about if I say I'd love it with the turqoise table and the chair?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the chair!
I had to giggle as I scrolled down to see so many changes ... reminds me of, well, ME! My fave is the last one. Love the chair, the silver cabinet and absolutely LOVE the cushion.

I think they all look good but my absolute favorite is definitely the first one! LOOOVe that arrangement! Sad to see that black table gone. It's gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI love this but my favorite was the white table with the trunks. I'm glad you still have that around in your place. Now, get over here and decorate mine! You know when you come to visit Shelley that you have to come decorate my house. Part of the deal. You'll be fine.
ReplyDeletethe last one is the warmest:
ReplyDeletelike it lots:
maybe oil or stain the stair spindles:
they would look lush with your browny floor:
neutral tones are easier to blend when you change the rest:
which of course you will!

I do love the last one you have now. I think it's because it's most functional with all the storage and the chair to sit on. The color is warm but not dark. All that change must be entertaining for your kids. I sure get a kick out of it :)
