I am half tempted to repost pictures from last year, but unfortunately someone around here moves furniture around all the time, so things just don't look the same.
I just can't imagine who that would be...
You probably recognize the wreath on the front door. It never changes. The window wreath changes with each holiday, but the front door wreath I will never take down. This is due to the fact that I am pretty sure a small creature is living there. We just don't tell the neighbors that.
Here is the tree!
Entrance table below.
I love my little lightbulbs. They are not vintage. I picked them up last year at Target on clearance.
Living room side table. I started out with several more jars and lids, but upon returning from Washington DC realized a few were missing. I am afraid to ask for details.
The fireplace does not have stockings yet. Hey, I have a few more days!
Here 's the tree in Taylor and Evey's room. It has survived well considering last year Lily tried to eat half of the ornaments.
Lily's tree. She refuses to let me put it in her room. I put it up down the hallway, and every day I scoot it a half inch towards her room. It just might make it there by New years.
Matthew's tree. When I catch whichever kid keeps stuffing Lego's in the nutcracker's mouth, they are seriously goin' down.
And our little red Elf on the Shelf is currently residing on the stairs. I had high hopes for our new little friend. Sadly, every time I encourage him to be mischievous my kids act like they could care less.
What? Haven't you been following Pinterest???
Maybe I will have him start playing pranks on Mr. Wright. :)
Your house is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteLove the holiday decor -- so vintage! :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you hang your letterpress drawyer? I have a similar one and have yet to decide on how to hang it. Thanks :)
Hi April!
ReplyDeleteI just attached picture frame hardware on the back. Not the wire, just the saw tooth looking hook that you can nail on the back of a frame. Sorry, I can't remember what they are called. Most frames come with them already attached. I picked up a package at Home Depot.
