Paper Samples

I know a girl who gets giddy over the Nordstrom sale ad each season.

Another friend gets excited every time she bakes homemade cookies.

And another gets the chills every time she finishes reading a bestselling novel.

What gets me giddy?

Paper.

I looooove paper.

Color, texture, contrast, I love it all.

I once asked the paint department at Home Depot if I could have one of every paint sample they displayed. An hour later I am pretty sure they were rolling their eyes when they saw me trying to carry them out with both arms full and wrapped around my lovely treasure.

Give me paint samples for my birthday or Christmas, I assure you I will be happy.

Which is why when my local photo supply store gave me this a few days ago I nearly hugged the sales person.

I have been purchasing this stuff for years, but never knew there were samples.

As you can see below I picked out a fun new color. It's called Alpine and it's a beautiful turquoise blue.

I just finished a really fun shoot for a local business using this color. I can't wait to share the finished images with you!
