First of all, I did not make this rocket launcher.
Second, even though my dad made it, I have no idea how he did it.
Third, even though I cannot give you detailed instructions, there's a pretty close tutorial here.
Fourth, rockets launchers... totally rock.
Mr. Wright uses an air compressor so we have enough pressure to shoot the rockets really far. You know, to aim them at neighbors houses and stuff.
The original intention of the rocket launcher was for me to use with Matthew's class at school. The class loved it, and we have pulled it out several times to play with as a family since then.
The ironic thing is Matthew is just not that interested in it.
The girls however, think it's the coolest thing since Barbie Princess Charm School.
(Which they saw for the first time just last week, but you get the idea.)
I will say, there are a few problems when it comes to girls and rockets.
Even though they are having fun, they still won't put down their latest novel.
Or they just can't figure out what a rocket is anyways.
Or they cry a lot when their pink rocket lands on the roof.
Besides that, girls love shooting rockets with their dad.
If you live in the area, and you area nice person whom we know, you are welcome to borrow the rocket launcher.
It would be seriously awesome at a birthday party.
I'll even send three little girls with it just so you can sample the drama between sisters and taking turns.
You'll thank me later.
