(Not that I have been counting.)
When Dallan was called as Bishop over five years ago, I told him there was no way I was calling him Bishop.
It just felt weird.
Plus, if I ever needed to talk to a bishop, chances were I just needed to complain about him.
Luckily that never happened.
I think I will start calling him Bishop now.
He looks so happy here, but truth be told he is very, very sad.
Maybe even feeling a little lost.
Don't worry, were going to take good care of him.

Awww, and what a great bishop he was. I guess I should say is, since it's what he'll always be referred to as now. I know Jeff LOVED serving with him and was a great example. Thanks for all the sacrifices that were made during the time he served.

A twinge of jealous washed over me as I read your post! My husband has been Bishop for a year and a half. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and I yearn for the days to sit with him again! I'm so happy for you guys and can't wait for THAT day to come to us :)

ReplyDeleteThis is so crazy since we moved here over four years ago. Where did the time go? Love the pics to mark a new beginning for the family. I cried when I got released--only took about a week to come to my senses though. :) Get him out golfing and he'll be fine. Though I'm sure that's the last thing you want to do since you just got him back. Thanks for everything!!

I love the family pictures. You look like a bishop's family. That is scary since you are my high school friend and I believe you should remain that way. I'm so happy you get your husband back. You are awesome.
