Three girls, can you imagine?

These three nieces of mine came over a few days ago looking so adorable in three little matching dresses.
Three matching dresses, pretty flowers in their hair, and little sparkly metallic shoes.
Oh my adorableness.

While my three nieces pranced around in their pink cotton polka-dots, my youngest daughter ran wild in sneakers and underpants.
Oh, I want a twirly little girl to dress up and primp!

I also have a nudist daughter (almost 4 yrs old). Every day she comes home from preschool and gets back into her birthday suit and I'm extremely happy for her! When can we feel this free again in our adult lives? I'll take underpants over dresses any day! :)
ReplyDeleteok.. this is all I needed today to get my laughing so so so so so hard! I mean really..how can you not just fall in love with that little girl running around in sneakers and underwear.I am still laughing out loud from it. I too wonder what it would be like to have a girl to twirl and dress up in cute dresses..i can sympathize..but i must say..sneakers and underwear is just way more comfy. i mean, if i could get away with it, i would like to hang in underwear too..ok that was just a visual that we all didnt need. sorry for that. :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Addie really could be great friends with Lily. She's mostly in undies all day, unless we're going somewhere and I tell her she needs to get dressed. She responds, "I wear panties" ok. She will wear dresses but none of the cute headgear that goes with it. They are free spirits.

At least she is not Colin, he just learned to do cartwheels. Oh, did I mention he prefers to do them naked! I'd take a Lily any day ;)
