Photography Update

This last year I have been slowly transitioning from professionally shooting families to doing more commercial work. I love both, but I am finding product shots fits my family life far better.

I have also given up on the photography blog. I know that is not the best choice for a business, but I figure I already don't post to facebook or twitter, so why not drop the blog too? :) From now on I will be posting favorite shots here, both families and commercial work. Not all, but just the ones where I feel my creativity stand out.

The interesting thing I am finding about commercial work is that I don't always get to do the post processing of the images. Often clients want just the raw images so they can use an in house designer to incorporate them into their products. I shot some beautifully creative frames last week. I hope I will be able to share some of my favorite aspects of them when the final products are done and selling at a local book store.

Anyway, plan on a few more photo posts here and there. I will post below some favorite shots I recently did for a very creative local Lehi gal. She is selling these adorable headbands and snack bags at the Forget Me Not Boutique in Lehi. We did a trade. I love trades! My girls are now well stocked with hair pieces and reusable snack bags.
